Open Studio, Summer Fairs & Markets
Summer the season when Vermonters come out of hibernation. For me it means opening my studio to visitors for a weekend and exhibiting at outdoor fairs and markets. The schedule is still developing, but here’s the schedule so far.
The Boston South End Open Market offers a shopping experience like no other in Boston. With an ever-changing group of artisans, a hip location and the chance to feel the sun on you face while you browse, it’s a trip worth making. The Market offers the opportunity to meet the artists, vendors and farmers behind the work, and is fast becoming part of the South End’s well-known artist’s community. Every week offers shoppers something different and unique.
I will be back in Boston there the following Sundays and special weekends:

More than 280 sites will be open to the public in 2008. The weekend will feature a variety of original work, including the work of glass blowers, jewelers, printmakers, potters, furniture makers, weavers, ironworkers, painters, sculptors, quilt makers and wood carvers. Many galleries will host educational forums and feature special exhibits in conjunction with this event.
Walloomsac Farmers Market, Bennington Vermont - Bennington’s summertime outdoor market. A “producer only” market, the Walloomsac Market showcases a wide selection of locally-grown, fresh produce, flowers, prepared foods, farm products, select local crafts and other hand-made goods.
