Tony Conner Classes & Workshops
How I Teach, On-line Class Information and Student Testimonials
What to expect in my watercolor classes & workshops
During class, I offer demonstrations, one-on-one instruction and objective advice in a way that allows students at all ability levels to make great progress in a very short time.
My approach focuses on providing information and insights to increase understanding and proficiency.
Fundamental skills are important, particularly for a tricky medium like watercolor. So every class and workshop has a focus on the fundamentals, presented in a way that makes them simple and understandable.
About Online Classes
All online classes follow a similar format that is great for learning! All include Pre-class work that is often submitted for Critique before class, then the actual class. Click Here To Download A Sample Class Info Sheet
Every class has a page with lessons and info organized by week. The class page is available only to registered students and allows us to share information, video critiques, and class recordings. Click Here For An Example Class Page. The Class Page remains available to all registered students for four weeks after last online session.
ZOOM Classes are Recorded and available only to class members through links on the Class Page. See below for a sample class recording.
Weekly Critiques – Most weeks you’ll send portions of the pre-class work a couple days before the next online session. All received work is included in a recorded critique which is made available to registered students through the Class Page. See a sample recorded critique below.
All class are managed through Watercolor Methods – my online watercolor painting lesson site. Initial Registration, Class Page, Links to Videos, Class Recordings and Critiques are all available there.
