This painting was done during the Hudson Valley Plein Air Festival in 2020.

Light, color and reflections on a rainy day in rural upstate New York.  This is an intimate and moody scene that contrasts color and texture in an soggy autumn landscape.

The painting balances and contrasts color for mood, and rhythmn to create movement through the painting.
