MATERIALS

Use this Basic Watercolor Supplies and Materials list as a guide.

We’ll be working on 140lb Cold Press Paper for each project.  I recommend Arches 140lb Cold Press

Ocean water tends to be darker and lower intensity color than we think.  Color mixes for this class will use different blues ; Cobalt, Ultramarine, Cerulean, and Indanthrene, along with earth colors; Raw and Burnt Sienna, and Raw and Burnt Umber.   In addition to those, Quinacridone Deep Gold or Quinacridone Gold is a good addition.
