“Sharing Secrets” – 11″ x 15″

This painting is really about light and the dark contrasts that reveal it. From the standpoint of technique, there’s a combination of deliberate layering for atmosphere and direct marks for texture and movement.

These three boats were all covered and huddled together, reminding me of three friends talking and sharing secrets.
