"Changing Sky, Pownal Valley" - original watercolor plein air watercolor painting by Tony ConnerA wintry looking scene for the day that Spring arrives!

In reality, the arrival of the spring equinox never really means the end of winter weather or that the landscape suddenly looks like spring has actually arrived.

Still, there is the promise of spring in these clouds.  They were moving rapidly from west to east. In the process the soft, puffy cumulus clouds that are so prevalent in warm weather seemed to be pushing away the stormy looking gray ones.

No doubt we still have some winter left to deal with, but both the wind and weather are changing.  Happy Spring!
