“Yards At Hudson” – 11″ x 15″

This painting was done during the Hudson Valley Plein Air Festival in 2020.

Empty train yards aren’t the most appealing of subjects.  The sense of perspective and distance that allows you to travel through and under the rusted and abandoned bridge was eye-catching. 

The rainy day creates mood and enlivened the dull colors one normally associates with trains, trainyards and railroads.
