Your Umbrian Painting adventure!
Your Umbrian Painting Adventure begins on Saturday,September 11, 2021 with arrival at the Rome Fiucimino Airport. You’ll be transported to Spoleto for a glorious week of painting, exploring and adventure.
Every day begins with a relaxing breakfast at the hotel (included in fee). From there each day will be a little different, but will always combine painting and sketching with touring and enjoying many of the Ancient and Medieval wonders of Umbria.
There will be plenty of free time as well, allowing you to wander, explore, shop, and eat – not to mention paint and sketch.
A more detailed itinerary follows.
Experience the enchanting landscapes of “The Green Heart of Italy” while touring mystic valleys and mountains, the highest waterfalls in Europe, alongside ancient and medieval bridges, buildings and cathedrals.
You’ll have expertly guided tours conducted by Umbrian guide and Spoleto native, Daniela Cittadoni through some of the most fascinating locations in Umbria: Spoleto, Assisi, Bevagna, Trevi, and Scheggino.
Painting is always an adventure in a new location, but Umbria is a location like no other. The combination of clear light, towering hills, and summer greenery will inspire and challenge.
We’ll sketch on our local tours and focus on more ambitious work when at our ‘home base’ of Spoleto, while absorbing a landscape that has inspired artists for centuries.
Detailed itinerary below.
I hope you can join me on this painting adventure!
